But Not Forsaken (True Story)

$17.50

Helen Brenneman

An excellent true story written for adults, but the whole family would benefit from this book. Hans and Maria Penner, Mennonite refugees from the Russian Ukraine, forged west with their family through communist East Germany, where they were tragically separated, and each feared the other was lost or slain. Each continued separately toward their flight for freedom, where ultimately they each needed to cross the German border.

A gripping story of trials, treachery, tragedy, and triumph, of the struggle for food, freedom, and faith, of a family distressed, persecuted, and separated, but not forsaken! God's loving faithfulness and caring provision for them is evident throughout. Highly recommended.
