Product 72/73
Young Mary is dismayed that the price of a new needle for Grandma is more than she has in her purse. The kindly storekeeper offers to give her a rusty needle salvaged from the wastebasket. Grandma, resourceful as ever, polishes it up and starts it on a long life of usefulness. In her hands it becomes a parable of redemption. "Jesus picked me up out of the dirt and made me like new and gave me a purpose in life. Now I have work to do!" she says, as she and the needle work together to serve others.
Years later, when Grandma's ministry is drawing to a close, the needle and its mantle of service are passed on to Mary.
