CARD 1:
Can you tell? Can you guess?
There's a baby in the house....
On the counter, see the lotions,
Powders, bottles, baby notions.
See two tiny crumpled socks
By the chair where Mother rocks.
There's the crib, all fit and sweet.
Dolls and teddies on the sheets....
Inside Card 1:
Ah, there's Baby, fast asleep -
Heaven's kiss upon his cheek.
Welcome to the New Baby!
The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
upon them that fear him, and his righteousness
unto children's children. Psalm 103:17

CARD 2: To the Parents -
Ere very long, you'll need to know
Where daytime and the sunshine go;
What holds the stars up in their place;
Why air and light don't take up space;
What makes the leaves fall off the trees;
Why birds can sing but not the bees;
What keeps the jets up in the sky;
If birds can fly, then why can't I;
What makes the flowers smell so sweet;
If plants can grow, what do they eat!...
Inside Card 2:
But what a joy to teach them so;
God planned it thus-and so they grow.
God bless you with His valor, vim,
To nurture this dear child for Him!
He hath made everything beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world [eternity] in their heart.

CARD 3: To the New Parents -
You've entered the awesome, yet wonderful world,
A place that's been called Babyland.
No maps made by men this place ever herald;
It's the place of the dimpled hand,
Of cooing and laughing and sunny smiles,
Instead of the talk of men....
Inside Card 3:
Where mothers are rocking with lullabies -
Songs sweeter than written by pen.
And fathers smile down on the beautiful scene
With tears overflowing with love,
And pray for God's wisdom to intervene
To fit Baby for gold streets above.
O give thanks unto the LORD for he is good. Psalm 136:1

CARD 4:
This tiny little treasure,
So fresh and cute and small,
Is not for mere enjoyment -
God has a special call,
A claim upon this spirit,
A purpose for this life;
So cherish, guide, and nurture
This child through joy and strife
To be God's faithful servant,
A vessel in His hand....
Inside Card 4:
A jewel in His kingdom,
An heir of heaven's land.
