Jeff Barth

This book is far more than a little epic tale of a family who moved out West to serve the Lord together.  It is a teaching story to present valuable portraits of Godliness for the family woven throughout the tale.

Taken from pioneer stories Jeff Barth told to his family years ago, this book tells of the Anderson family as they traveled out west to Kentucky to serve the Lord together.  It is filled with the daily life experiences of the “olden days” and Christian family values such as children honouring parents, and respecting, helping, and loving siblings.

Storytelling is a wonderful way for us to teach our own children (and ourselves as parents) some of those Biblical qualities that we best learn when we see them exemplified in someone else.  Maybe you will observe your own family taking on many of the good qualities presented through the characters.

Richly illustrated throughout with intricate pencil sketches by two homeschooled brothers.
